The day began at 9 a.m. with a prayer followed by an English hymn sending us out on mission. During the hymn, Sister Claire Houareau called each province and sent us out to our exhibits. Several sisters wearing local and traditional dress already announced the colors of the day.
There was a festive atmosphere as we visited to the different exhibits. We made may discoveries as sisters from the different provinces welcomed us, and we marveled at the variety of cultures and ministries as we admired the displays and learned more about each country.
After a pause for Mass and lunch, we resumed our visits until 3 p.m., and then gathered again in general assembly for a round table discussion with the sisters from the Pacific provinces and the Indian Ocean. It was a time of deep community sharing with them.
The day ended with more time to continue visiting the many exhibits.
