With the chapel beautifully decorated, the sisters gathered with family and friends of our Jubilarians for the celebration of the Mass. Father Philippe Gregalet, originally from Central African Republic, was celebrant. He was also the retreat master for the retreat that preceded the Jubilee celebrations.
Just prior to receiving communion, each of the Jubilarians renewed her vows. It as a profound moment to hear sisters, who had given 50 and 60 years of their lives to the mission of the church and the congregation, throughout various parts of the world, renew that commitment through their vows of obedience, chastity and poverty.
Following the Mass, the Jubilarians, their family and friends, along with the sisters, gathered for a wonderful feast day banquet. It was interspersed with songs from the various regions of France but also from various parts of the world ; Madagascar, Angola, Spain, Seychelles, Senegal, Portugal, the Pacific, and India !
