Many sisters are involved in this apostolate, in towns and rural areas, using established structures (parishes, schools, youth or adult movements…) as well as reaching out to people wherever they are, sometimes in very isolated situations. Here are some examples of our pastoral activities :
- Preparation for the reception of the sacraments in parishes and schools, with adults and young people of all ages, street children, families….
- Serving as receptionists and secretaries in parishes and dioceses
- Liturgical animation, assistants in parishes, and chaplaincy for immigrant communities
- Serving in parishes, churches, seminaries, diocesan houses, nunciatures
- Helping to develop programmes for the training of catechists, for RCIA, and Bible classes
- Serving on parish councils, various associations, Catholic Radio stations, inter-religious dialogue groups
- Welcoming groups, families, priests, bishops, Sisters of other congregations, pilgrims, young people who are searching
- Visits to the aged and the sick in their homes or in hospital, visits to families and in villages
- Missionary treks to animate small prayer groups in villages
- Visiting prisoners, providing health care, welcoming their families and their children, spiritual accompaniment
- Retreat centres and spiritual direction and support
